Pink Skittles

Good evening everyone! I hope you've had a fun weekend, I sure have! Today I have some pink skittles to show you. I recently bought OPI Mod About You after hearing about it for so long, and the buzz was right, it is the perfect baby pink! After wearing it as a plain mani for a few days I opted to spice things up, take a look!
I used one coat of Ozotic 509 on my index finger to make a holo pink, unfortunately it wasn't sunny enough to show this off. I used OPI Alpine Snow for the polka dots and for the zebra stripes using Konad plate m57. Finally I sponged OPI Teenage Dream onto my ring finger to complete the look.

Honestly I kind of wish I had left this mani alone, the colour is pretty enough to stand by itself.

Holographic Bubbles

Hey everyone! I'm back from my week long hiatus, I'm sorry but I had a hectic week. It's not even that I hadn't been painting my nails, but I was sent a new Konad plate from Nail Polish Canada and I've been torn between posting all the manis I did in one big comprehensive review or a separate post for each one. I've decided to go with the latter because I have a LOT of photos! Just as a side note - I have (hopefully) disabled the word recognition requirement on posting comments, I had no idea it was even there! I hope it hasn't been deterring you guys from commenting, but if it has it is now long gone!

You may remember my review of Ozotic 509 from a little while ago. Before removing that beautiful, beautiful polish I grabbed the Konad plate, which is m85, and stamped over the silver holo with black using the circle design - I think it looks like bubbles!

I used Ozotic 509 as the base colour and stamped with China Glaze Liquid Leather. I think this design is super cute and it's not too busy. The lines stamped pretty well, I don't claim to be a master Konad-er so there are a few flaws in my mani but for the most part I had no problem picking up the details of the design.

Here is the best pic I could get of the plate. I'm so happy it features four full nail designs, I'm not huge on the plates that have mostly part nail or tip designs. You can purchase this plate, m85, from Nail Polish Canada right here! It retails for $8.75, and all their Konad plates ship for free within Canada!
Keep reading for more photos of both this plate and my holo mani.

Ozotic 509

Hello everyone! I have a brilliant post to show you today, it's a colour I've been dying to blog about ever since I got it but it was really important for me to do this shade justice - Ozotic 509. Ozotic 509 is a gorgeous silver holographic shade and is described as follows:
"This shade has no glitter - it contains a holographic shimmer that will bring rainbows to your fingertips!
Your nails will take on a whole new dimension when in bright light or sunlight, sparkling with all the colors of the rainbow!"
I could ramble on about this polish all day, but let's see some photos of this gorgeous colour.
Look at that holo effect, the force is strong with this one. I used three coats of Ozotic 509 to reach opacity and the desired holo effect.

Ozotic 509 is available for purchase from Canadian e-tailer Harlow & Co. right here for $17.00 CAN. If you don't have a classic silver holo in your life yet then this is one I would recommend. The holographic effect is strong and Ozotic bottles contain 0.5 oz / 14 mL. While it may seem expensive at first glance it evens out when you look at the price / mL ratio.
My dear friend Carla lent me her Nikon D5100 so I could take some worthwhile pics of this polish for you, so please keep reading after the break. I warn you, I may have gone a little crazy with the photos.
