Ho Ho Ho! Season's Greetings!

Happy Holidays everyone! Today I have some festive nail art for you that will be sure to make you smile :)

As you can see, I have a santa and candy cane stripes on the left hand. On the right, there is a snowman and some snowflakes to match. I really loved this manicure and I hope you do as well! (Please excuse all my peely cuticles, it's really really dry and no moisturizer is helping!)

More pics after the jump!

Winter Wonderland

Hi guys! Continuing on with the Christmas-y holiday theme, here is a gorgeous frosty blue by Sally Hansen called Deep Blue Sea. This is a shimmery, light blue frost that goes on well and can be built up to achieve opacity. This is the kind of color that reminds me of snow flakes, Jack Frost, snowmen... just winter in itself. All I can say is that I really enjoy it!

What kind of nail art (freehand, stamping, decals, etc.) would you put on top of this color to make it even more winter wonderland-like?

It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas...

Happy December everyone! We can finally start the countdown to Christmas, are you as excited as I am? I know I'm ready for the week long vacation, just to relax, eat, sleep, and get together with family and friends. I've been getting into the Christmas mood with some nail polish recently, so the first manicure I want to show you is with Ulta's Envy. This is a luscious dark forest green, with a little bit of shimmer. However, this is barely noticeable once it's on your nails. Nonetheless, this is a very nice and festive polish and I think forest green is a must have for this season.

Canadian readers, I'm sorry to say that this polish is exclusive to Ulta stores, which are only located in the US. So next time you're down there for vacation, be sure to check out their polish lines!

As for the formulation, it's a bit thick for my liking, and I have to make sure to clean up my cuticles afterwards because the brush isn't the best shape... But hey it's a nice color and affordable at that! Enough talk, here are the pics!

With flash you can see the shimmer/iridescence more clearly!

Lovely electromagnetic radiation notes!

And a Christmas party invite :)

Hope this was a nice and simple start to the holiday season for you! What manicures/nail art are you planning on sporting for your special occasions?

Thanks for reading!

Christmas Chevrons

So I had been envisioning these chevrons for a while, and after having them on my nails for less than an hour I'm already removing them. I'm not sure why but these just aren't my favourite nail look..but maybe you guys will like them and have suggestions for next time!

Oh Christmas Lights, Keep Shining On

Good Morning everyone! First of all I'd like to wish a VERY Happy Birthday to my lovely roommate Joyce, I love you! She has an exam today and one tomorrow as well, poor thing :(, but she'll be off to Europe soon!

I hope you liked seeing my mom's nails yesterday, maybe nice nails is genetic afterall. I've been envisioning these nails for literally two months, and I don't want to say I'm disappointed with how they turned out but they're not quite the same look I was going for. Nevertheless, I think these are awesome and I'm excited to share them with you guys!

For this manicure I used OPI Skull & Glossbones as a base, why did I not pick this polish up before yesterday, it's SO perfect. I made the strings using a black striper from LA Colors Art Deco, and made the lights using two different sizes of dotting tools and OPI Banana Bandanna, The Thrill of Brazil, Suzi Says Feng Shui, Green-wich Village, and China Glaze Papaya Punch. Guest Starring..

Hello everyone! Yesterday my mom and I went to CosmoProf and we both bought a few too many new polishes and she asked me to give her a holiday manicure. I took inspiration from this post by The Nailasaurus but my mom wanted some seasonal skittles so I gave her a little variety. Check out my mom's new mani!

Aren't they cute? I'm pretty proud. Keep reading for a few more photos as well as a list of polishes used.
