Day 01 - Red

Hello everyone, welcome to a new month and the beginning of the 31 Day Challenge! Yes, you heard correctly, I'm going to be undertaking this challenge along with a wonderful group of ladies that I met in a polish enthusiast facebook group. Some of you may be familiar with this challenge, and if you are you'll know that the first week is all solid colours. Unfortunately (or maybe fortunately) I'm not down with doing boring swatches of solid colours all week - I want to do nail art throughout this entire challenge.
I just got back from vacation last night and so I hadn't been able to prepare in advance for today's post and I opted to go with a simple chevron design. I used China Glaze Hey Sailor!, China Glaze Ruby Pumps, and Quo by ORLY Filthy Rich.

I'm not too happy with this design, but I guess that means it can only get better from here on out.

Here's the plan for the challenge so you can follow along!
I hope you guys all get a chance to check out the designs of the other ladies who are participating alongside me!

  1. I'm totally with you on not just doing swatches of one color. I need some POP on my nails!! These are adorable chevrons, I think you did a great job!

    1. Thank you, you're too sweet! We're actually in the process of designing a new blog banner, but we've had so much positive feedback I think we'll keep it pretty similar.
